In this exegesis, I will speak my mind because, what doesn’t make sense, doesn’t make sense. Even if one is comfortable now, who knows what will happen tomorrow? Reality tends to hide, so that we would do what is right. Truth be told, there was a country.
It is better to live in the past and realize it than to be living in the past and not realize it. An underdeveloped nation thinking she has arrived to the point of advanced technology yet she is always awkward in everything. Is that a country? What if I told you she is dead already?

There is nothing working in that country. As a matter of fact, the line between the poor and rich is massive, you have to get money and connection in order to be at the abundance side. The most annoying part is, some people are above the law, howbeit, they preach what they can’t do. Is that a country?
Meritocracy is not a criterion, but you can shortcut it if you have money. At times, it not about your good deeds, or should I say good deeds are not always recognized in some cases. In this scenario, I wonder how people who have been doing good feel. In addition they might even decide to step down. Is it the case that good deeds don’t last?
These old cargos are always sleeping when some major discussions are ongoing,no shame and remorse because they feel they have embezzled enough to take care of their children. Some are power drunk to the extent they would say, I can be in power forever. How about death? Have they forgotten that death is a compulsory intervention?

The government in that country is a representation of themselves, the will of the people isn’t in their hearts. What is the essence of a government? In the next paragraph we will examine what a democratic government is, not the one with tribalism and religion appointees. Kindly gaze at it below :
“Governance is the exercise of a power or of an authority with the objective of managing the affairs of a State, an organization or a society. Democratic governance, or βgood governanceβ, is based on the enforcement of the fundamental values of democracy in the power exercise.
But what are in fact these fundamental values of democracy?
Given the fact that democracy constitutes a conviction, its orientation concerns fundamental values that help human beings to apply democratic transformations and to try to live this democracy. Those fundamental values, among others: justice, equality, solidarity, tolerance, pluralism, the taking into account of the minorities, non-violence, dialogue and negotiations, free community life.
Democracy then respects and takes into consideration, as much as possible, the interests of the minorities in the framework of the adoption of majority decisions. (Paula Becker (Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, University of Hamburg) and Dr. Jean-AimΓ© A. Raveloson-WHAT IS DEMOCRACY?)”.

Is there such a governance in that country? The leaders are like a comic relief that tend to act because they have observed that the masses are not ready for freedom, but the recent turn up in the quest for a better nation, this government attacked her citizens without pity. Many were wounded and, yet the brutality in their hearts is really atrocious. If karma won’t avenge now, their children should be available even “prayer” will reject their offer, howbeit, the time is near.
Should I call her a failed nation? In order not to annoy the inhabitants of this said country, let me try and address her with hope, but this has been the hope they have been hoping for, a hope to change to a working system. I don’t know if these leaders are willing to do what the people want. Hmm, the ‘IS’ in ‘WAS.‘ What is left in that nation? Who did she offend? Or she wasn’t ripe for independence in the first place? How do we tend to know the difference between egoism and altruism since both parties are tired of mankind?

There is a way one will sit and imagine a possible future as planned in some countries, not in the case of one particular nation where things can’t go as planned, in most cases you have to bribe your way out. But why is it so? Although she’s not the worst country, but a person living in that kind of a territory will feel terrible especially when some notable things aren’t in place. Once again, there was a country.
Everything looks hopeless, honestly, when I look at this world generally I feel she’s weak, or is she rebooting with an element of surprise? What is really happening in this country I am talking about? Can you guess the country? There is no need to accuse an individual directly rather tackle his or her conscience with a parable, it’s not because you don’t have the capacity. Hence, provocation is also another means of knowing a person’s authenticity.
How about the military sector? In a video, I saw a young military personnel threatening a civilian saying, “I will kill you and nothing would happen.” As a matter of fact, it is true, nothing will happen because those in power don’t care as long as they are not affected. This is also applicable to other armed sectors in Nigeria, a dead conscience don’t realize how it is to be maltreated. How would they reform those sectors without a psychological intervention?

“There was a country but she is living in the past yet she is, she was in her is.” The aforementioned statement belongs to the realm of sagacious people, the only way to understand it, is to be deep in your thinking and if you can’t, kindly restructure your foundation.
A lot has been spent in restructuring that great nation who has all resources including talents, experts etc. At the end, deception is always a manner of approach, everything seems to be the same, there is no willingness to do what is right rather they prefer to chase their egocentric establishment for the benefits that would please them. They aren’t moved by the tears of the proletarians, is this a fulfilled nation?
When is hope coming to that country? Now or in future? Or is it the case that the future has already been used? Where did she go wrong? At times, I wish the said country could be revamped to a new state, but can this happen? The citizens are suffering, the leaders are rejoicing yet they would say, they are for the people. Who are they deceiving?
In order not to prolong this matter, I hope I have communicated judiciously with you. All in the name of vaingloriousness ,the innocent masses paid the price for the sake of emancipation. A nation that won’t listen to the voice of the people is called a country living in the “WAS” in “IS”. Hence, the embassy of the past can no longer accommodate these old folks, even the past wants to forget what she’s known for. As a matter of fact, she wants to be in an era of forwardness. If that should be the case, what is wrong with those hindering the progress of that nation?
They have concluded to embrace and join the fresh ones, sameness with a touch of wicked madness. If everything has been put in place, then, it would be, THERE IS A COUNTRY,NOT THERE WAS A COUNTRY. After all, the real meaning of existence is to enjoy the benefits.
